[Total Suspended Solids] The term Total Suspended Solids comprises all undissolved substances that are present in a water sample to be analysed and that, when the sample is subjected to filtration, are withheld by a diaphragm filter with a given mesh size (APAT – Environmental Protection and Technical Service Agency).
